Unexpected bugs in paradise

The hotel boasts a convenient location near the metro and several attractions. The friendly staff, especially Cristian at the reception, delivered really good service.

I encountered several bugs in the bathroom and found the overall upkeep lacking. The breakfast options were quite underwhelming, and parking was limited.

I would have liked to have a mini-fridge in the room.

Sweet as stay! Nice big room, but the air con was pretty hopeless, eh? Breakfast could flavour up a bit too. Staff were so friendly!

Noisy nights

The hotel is modern, rooms have exceptionally nice design for the price level, rooms are very clean, bathroom is clean and high quality. I was a little unlucky as there was a loud wedding party in the hotel that seemed to last forever the one night i was staying there and my room was just one floor higher. The friendlyness of the staff (and the multiple free drinks) made me forget about the noise issue though and in all fairness i didn't ask for a room higher up.

We got upgraded to a double room for free, such a nice surprise. The breakfast had a variety for every taste. The location is perfect, only a 10-minute walk to the afI mall and close to the metro that takes you to the city center in just 15 minutes.

Too much light in the morning. It didn't had any mean to stop the light from entering the room. Breakfast was rather poor, with bottled orange juice (the one you buy in supermarkets). I was requested to pay in advance.

The rooms had a cozy vibe, made for decent sleep quality, and the private underground parking was a nice convenience.

The air conditioning was pretty much useless on hotter days, leaving me to rely on open windows, which wasn't great for a peaceful night's sleep. The mattresses were undeniably uncomfortable, with springs poking through. I found the breakfast variety lacking, which could be a dealbreaker for longer stays. It's worth mentioning that the Wi-Fi signal pretty much dropped on the higher floors. And let's not gloss over the outdated furnishings-they could use a serious upgrade to bring some life into the place.

The air conditioning barely functioned in extreme heat. I sweated through restless nights. Plus, receiving only one set of towels in a twin room is frustrating when traveling with someone.

It was just a good pick for a transient stop in Bucharest with fantastic value. The accessible location near the metro was really handy for exploring. Pro tip, ask the staff for extra towels upfront!
